Norwich Castle is a wonderful example of a 12^th Norman castle that has stood the test of time remarkably well. Today it is also houses an interesting museum focusing on local Norfolk history, as well as some interesting archaeological finds.

Set in an impressive building designed by Sir Norman Foster, Art lovers should take in a visit to the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts, at the University of East Anglia. Here you’ll find an art collection donated by Sir Robert and Lady Sainsbury, that was given to the university back in the early seventies. Works include African tribal sculpture, as well as works by famous names such as Picasso and Moore.
